START ME UP FOR WORCESTER training session announced with special guest!

A series of FREE TRAINING runs will begin next week with a VERY SPECIAL GUEST!

We are excited to announce that next Thursday 23rd March, our 2017 Start Me Up for Worcester #SMUFW training runs will begin in partnership with Freedom Leisure where YOU could run with Steve Cram and the very special guest who will be running in this year’s Worcester City Run half marathon!

All runners taking part in the training session open to all abilities will receive a FREE #SMUFW technical training top and access to special event offers.

Freedom Leisure and our performance partners Totum Sport UK & Ireland are kindly hosting the first of our free sessions from the superb new Perdiswell Leisure Centre.

The session will run from 17:45 for a meet and greet with Steve Cram and special guest, followed by an easy 5K run at 18:00

DS Media + Events is the brainchild of Steve Cram, who heads a team who have extensive experience in event organisation, delivery and marketing of major sporting events, as well as broadcasting and the media. Steve, former international athlete, World Record holder and Olympic medallist is also director of Extra Mile, which has acted as consultant to numerous major running events such as the Bristol Half Marathon, Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All and has organised the elite road races at the Middlesbrough 10K.
